Prepare the reagent: Empty the provided extraction-buffer ampule into the reagent tube. Confirm the liquid reaches at least Line 1, then securely attach the dropper tip.
Collect the sample: Using the provided anterior nasal swab, insert the soft tip no more than ¾ inch into the nostril. Rotate/brush the swab 5 times over approximately 15 seconds, then repeat in the other nostril using the same swab.
Extract the sample: Insert the swab into the reagent tube until it reaches the bottom. Squeeze the tube around the swab head and stir the swab at least 15 times.
Apply the sample: Squeeze the tube while removing the swab to extract as much liquid as possible. Replace the dropper tip and add 2 drops into the test device's sample well.
Read the results: Wait 15 minutes and visually interpret the result. Do not read the test before 15 minutes or after 20 minutes. A control line at CON must appear for the test to be valid.
