Collect Specimen – Collect the urine specimen directly into the test cup and securely tighten the lid.
Check Temperature – Verify that the specimen temperature is within the acceptable range of 90–100°F (32–38°C).
Expose Test Results – Remove the label covering the test result area.
Wait 5 Minutes – Keep the cup upright on a flat surface and allow the test to develop.
Read Results – Interpret the results at 5 minutes according to the manufacturer’s instructions. A visible control line confirms the test has run properly.

Result Interpretation: Two lines (C + T) indicate a negative result. One line at C with no T line indicates a preliminary positive result. A faint test line should still be interpreted as negative. Preliminary positive results should be confirmed using an appropriate laboratory confirmation method.
